Llano, CA (February 14, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol confirmed that 45-year-old Ricardo Llanos Diaz of Palmdale, California, has died as a result of a two-vehicle accident that took place at around 1:15 a.m. on February 13.
According to reports, a red city and was traveling on Antelope Highway when the vehicle stalled out just west of Pearblossom Highway. For reasons unknown, a green SUV crashed into the stopped vehicle.
One person was ejected from one of the vehicles as it overturned due to the collision.
Emergency crews responded to the scene to provide assistance to the injured victims. However, one of the victims, identified as Diaz, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, no further details are available.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
