McFarland, CA (February 14, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal accident that took place in Kern County on Tuesday morning, February 14.
At around 3:52 a.m., a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a second vehicle collided on California State Highway 65. The incident caused severe disruptions in traffic.
One person was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated.
One person was fatally injured as a result of the accident and pronounced deceased at the scene.
