Oxnard, CA (February 16, 2023) – A pedestrian has died following a motor vehicle accident in the Oxnard area. At around 9:40 p.m. on February 14, the police and firefighters were called to the scene of an accident on 5th Street.
Reports from the police show that a male pedestrian was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Express near the intersection of 5th Street and G Street.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene to provide aid to the victim. He was rushed to a local hospital for further care due to the severity of his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the man passed away after arriving.
