Sacramento, CA (February 16, 2023) – An automobile accident took place on the north side of Sacramento that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The accident was reported to the police at approximately 7:30 p.m. on February 15.
According to law enforcement, a silver Toyota sedan and a silver Kia SUV collided on college Oak Drive in the area of Myrtle Avenue.
The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway as they investigated.
Two tow trucks responded to the scene of the accident to remove the damaged vehicles.
The Sacramento Fire Department responded to provide assistance.
EMS provided treatment to victims who suffered injuries. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care.
The California Highway Patrol out of Sacramento is actively investigating the accident.
