San Diego, CA (February 16, 2023) – Two people were rushed to area hospitals following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in San Diego on Tuesday morning, February 14.
Just before 7:00 a.m., a car crash was reported on Mission Gorge Road.
Preliminary investigations show that a collision occurred on Mission Gorge Road in the area near Jackson Drive. A vehicle rear-ended a sedan while coming down the hill on the roadway. The impact of the crash sent one of the vehicles flying into the intersection, where it collided with a van.
Two people involved in the crash suffered severe injuries. The victims were rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital and Gross Mount Hospital for emergency treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
