San Diego, CA (February 16, 2023) – The San Diego Police Department is investigating a major accident that sent one woman to an area hospital with serious injuries on Sunday evening, February 12.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., a woman was attempting to cross the roadway in the 2800 block of El Cajon Boulevard. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle that was traveling westbound on the roadway.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
The pedestrian suffered severe injuries as a result of the accident. She was rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care.
The San Antonio Police Department is investigating the accident at this time.
