Redwood, CA (February 17, 2023) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Thursday evening in the Redwood City area that sent at least one person to a local hospital for medical care.
The accident was reported to the California Highway Patrol at around 4:20 p.m. on February 16.
Reports provided by CHP show that a dark gray pickup truck and a white Lexus sedan collided on the northbound side of California State Route 85. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway near the off-ramp to California State Route 82 North.
Authorities worked to remove both damaged vehicles from the scene.
EMS responded to provide treatment to the victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further treatment were then transported to area hospitals.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
