Gilroy, CA (February 18, 2023) – A hit-and-run crash took place in the Gilroy area that ended in injuries. The California Highway Patrol was requested at the scene of an accident on US Highway 101 at around 3:00 p.m.
According to law enforcement, a crash occurred on the southbound side of US Highway 101 during the afternoon hours. Authorities rushed to the scene and located one person suffering from injuries near Old Monterey Road.
Authorities immediately secured the area to prevent further injuries or damage.
Paramedics rushed to the site of the crash to provide treatment to the victim. The victim was then transported by Gilroy Fire Department EMS to an area hospital for emergency care.
