Pine Valley, CA (February 18, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Pine Valley area on Thursday claimed one person’s life. Calls for help were received by authorities on February 16.
According to reports, a 2009 Jeep Wrangler was traveling west on Pine Creek RRoad when it became involved in a collision near Deer Park Road. The impact of the crash sent the Jeep off the roadway, where it overturned.
A 20-year-old man in the Jeep was ejected. He was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two 28-year-old men from the San Diego area were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for further medical care.
Two other victims, a 25-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man, were also injured. The two victims were provided care at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
