Sunol, CA (February 18, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a major crash that occurred in the Sunol area on Friday afternoon, February 17.
Reports from CHP show that at around 3:20 p.m., a crash involving five to six vehicles occurred on California State Route 84, Vallecitos Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and discovered a red sedan with severe rear-end damage.
Multiple vehicles had their airbags deployed due to the crash.
Injuries were reported in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene of the accident to care for the victims and provide them with transportation to local hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
