Sylmar, CA (February 18, 2023) – A pedestrian crash reported on Friday morning in the Sylmar area has claimed the life of a pedestrian, according to law enforcement.
At around 7:00 a.m. on February 17, emergency crews were called to provide assistance at the scene of a crash that occurred on the Interstate 210 Freeway.
Reports show that an adult male pedestrian was struck by a semi-truck on the freeway near Hubbard Street. The pedestrian was then struck by a white Dodge ram pickup truck.
The pedestrian was severely hurt as a result of the crash. Firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and declared the victim deceased from his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol at this time.
