California Trucking Accidents
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimate that every single year, accidents involving trucks, cars, and other motor vehicles result in the deaths of about 1.35 million persons worldwide. The CDC lists automobile accidents as the No. 1 main cause of non-natural death for Americans, both at home and abroad. While all motor vehicle collisions can result in significant injuries, truck collisions have a disproportionately high chance of fatalities.
Most passenger cars will sustain the most damage in an accident with a commercial truck. Large vehicles clog up the highways, byways, arterial routes, and interstates, and their drivers frequently work too hard and sleep too little.
