Bakersfield, CA (February 19, 2023) – A woman was left with serious injuries following a crash that occurred on Tuesday evening in the Bakersfield area. Just after 6:50 p.m. on February 14th, the Bakersfield Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident on Wible Road.
Preliminary investigations show that a Ford Expedition, a sedan, and a third vehicle collided in the 200 block of the roadway. The incident caused severe delays in the area just south of Brundage Lane.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and immediately secured the roadway.
One female victim involved in the accident suffered serious injuries. She was rushed to an area hospital for emergency medical care.
The Bakersfield Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
