Crescent City, CA (February 19, 2023) – Just before 3:45 p.m. on February 18th, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Crescent City area that left a pedestrian injured.
Late Saturday afternoon, authorities were notified that they were needed at the scene of a crash on Howland Hill Road.
Reports from authorities show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the area of 2332 Holland Hill Road.
Authorities arrived at the scene and blocked off a portion of the roadway as they worked to provide assistance.
The pedestrian was provided medical care at the scene of the accident by responding officers. The victim was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
