Los Angeles, CA (February 19, 2023) – An accident involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian took place on the south side of Los Angeles on Saturday evening. As a result of the collision, a pedestrian was hurt.
On February 18, at approximately 5:05 p.m., members of the Los Angeles Police Department and firefighters were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of a collision that had occurred on South Central Avenue.
Preliminary reports show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the vicinity of South Central Avenue and East Florence Avenue. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway.
The pedestrian suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics were called to provide care for the victim and transport them to a local hospital.
The police department in Los Angeles is currently investigating the accident.
