San Diego, CA (February 20, 2023) – Authorities were dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on Tuesday morning in San Diego that left at least one person with injuries. On February 14th, calls for help were received regarding a crash that took place on Emerald Street.
The San Diego Police Department responded to the site of the accident at approximately 8:00 a.m. and located a red Honda in a Toyota 4Runner blocking emerald Street in the area near Fanuel Street.
Emergency crews immediately began to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the roadway.
Reports indicate that the driver of the Honda ran a stop sign at the intersection and crashed into the Toyota.
Victims were provided medical care at the scene of the accident. An unknown number of victims were then transported to a local hospital for further attention.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
