Santa Fe Springs, CA (February 20, 2023) – A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries following a crash that took place early Monday morning.
Just before 3:15 a.m. on February 20th, troopers with the California Highway Patrol were notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident on Interstate 605.
Preliminary investigations show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the southbound side of the interstate. The authorities arrived at the scene and located the pedestrian near the off-ramp for Rose Hills Road.
Emergency crews immediately went to work on securing the area and rendering aid to the victim. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating this pedestrian accident.
