Fresno, CA (February 21, 2023) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital following a crash between two vehicles that was reported in Fresno on Monday afternoon, February 20.
At approximately 3:40 p.m., a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a four-door silver Honda Accord sedan collided on North Dower Avenue at the intersection of West Shields Avenue.
The incident prompted officials to close off both the eastbound and westbound lanes of travel at the intersection.
Multiple people were injured as a result of the accident. Paramedics responded to the scene to provide care to the victims who suffered injuries. Those who required further care were transported to local hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol out of district 6 is currently investigating the accident.
