Inglewood, CA (February 21, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that left one person injured. The accident was reported at around 6:30 p.m. on February 20.
According to reports provided by local news sources, a cement truck was traveling over the train tracks when the vehicle stalled out. As a result, a K-Line Metro train slammed into the vehicle in the area of Florence Avenue and Cedar Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the truck to roll over onto its side.
The driver of the truck suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for care after receiving treatment at the scene briefly.
