Needles, CA (February 21, 2023) – A pedestrian has died as a result of the motor vehicle accident that took place in Needles on Sunday evening.
Just after 7:50 p.m. on February 19, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of the deadly collision that took place on the Interstate 40 freeway.
Reports provided by authorities show that a white Toyota Camry was traveling east in the 14,500 block of the freeway when it struck a pedestrian.
As a result of the collision, the pedestrian sustained serious injuries. The victim received assistance from medical personnel who were present at the scene. However, authorities have stated that the victim ultimately succumbed to their injuries and passed away.
