Oakland, CA (February 21, 2023) – At 12:45 p.m. on February 20, the Oakland Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the Merritt section of town that left at least one person injured.
In the vicinity of 247 E. 18th Street, local police officials reported that a collision involving multiple vehicles took place. Authorities responded to the incident by closing down several lanes in the area.
Firefighters were called to provide assistance to the police.
