San Diego, CA (February 20, 2023) – Multiple people were hurt after a crash involving a drunk driver in San Diego on Saturday, February 18.
At around 9:49 p.m., the collision was reported on Interstate 5 between Balboa Avenue and Garnet Avenue. It was revealed that a Lexus SUV and another SUV collided at the scene. The Lexus sustained significant front-end damage and became disabled, while the other vehicle overturned into an embankment.
Emergency responders were dispatched and rescued three females from the overturned vehicle. All three were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The woman driving the Lexus was arrested for driving under the influence.
