Westminster, CA (February 21, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to assist at the scene of an accident involving three vehicles in the Westminster area.
Just before 4:30 p.m. on February 20, troopers were notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident on California State Route 22.
Reports provided by CHP show that a green Toyota 4Runner and two other vehicles collided on the westbound side of the highway. Authorities arrived at the scene and located a Toyota Camry with extensive front-end damage in the area near Valley View Street.
Authorities secured the westbound side of the roadway as they worked to clear the debris and damaged vehicles from the scene.
Tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the road.
Paramedics were dispatched to care for the injured victims and transfer them to local hospitals for further treatment and evaluation.
Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
