Los Angeles, CA (February 22, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident reported in the Los Angeles area sent one person to a local hospital with injuries.
On February 21, just before 1:00 p.m., the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in South Los Angeles.
Preliminary reports show that a hit-and-run accident occurred in the 3600 block of East Imperial Highway. One vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
One person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for further medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated by troopers with the California Highway Patrol.
