Modesto, CA (February 22, 2023) – One person died as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Monday evening in Modesto.
The accident occurred just before 8:10 p.m. on February 20.
According to law enforcement, a white man and a second vehicle collided on River Road at the intersection with Sawyer Avenue. The impact of the crash caused the van to overturn.
The California Highway Patrol and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident to provide assistance.
One person was fatally injured in the crash. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene immediately after emergency crews arrived.
