Vacaville, CA (February 22, 2023) – On Tuesday evening, the California Highway Patrol was notified that an automobile accident in Solano County resulted in injuries.
The accident was reported just after 4:00 p.m. on February 21.
According to officials, a black Honda Accord, a black Cadillac Escalade, a white Ford Transit van, and a black Suburban collided on the westbound side of Interstate 80.
Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and blocked off multiple lanes just east of Monte Vista Avenue, near the off-ramp for the roadway.
Authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene of the accident.
Medical personnel responded to care for victims who suffered injuries. The victims who required further medical attention were provided transportation by ambulance to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
