When two vehicles collide, there is a significant chance that people inside of the vehicles will be left with severe injuries. Unfortunately, thousands of accidents are reported in our state on a weekly basis that result in serious injuries. We see many people hospitalized with internal organ injuries, broken bones, and other severe trauma due to these accidents.
When innocent people are hurt in car crashes, they often have legal recourse available to help them move forward. It is important that car crash victims seek legal guidance from a personal injury lawyer in Crescent City right away.
After being hurt in an accident, injured parties can seek financial compensation from the person who is at fault. This is done by filing a personal injury lawsuit in civil court. In addition, victims are able to recover compensation for non-economic damages. These include:
- Pain and suffering.
