Fontana, CA (February 23, 2023) – On February 21, troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an accident involving two vehicles that took place in Fontana and ended in injuries.
The accident was reported at around 5:55 a.m. Reports provided by authorities show that two vehicles collided on the 210 Freeway in the area near Citrus Avenue. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes of the road as they provided assistance at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victim at the scene. The injured party was treated on-site and transported by ambulance to a local hospital.
Both of the involved vehicles were towed away from the scene due to the extent of the damage.
