Modesto, CA (February 24, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident was reported in Modesto on Thursday evening that left one person with injuries.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., on February 23, the California Highway Patrol troopers were called to provide assistance on-site at a crash that occurred on California State Route 99.
Preliminary reports show that a crash involving a motorcycle and a sedan occurred on the southbound side of California State Route 99. The incident blocked the road near the on-ramp for North Briggsmore Avenue.
One of the vehicles involved in the accident fled the scene.
One person was injured as a result of the accident. The victim was aided at the scene and transported to a local hospital by ambulance.
The police are actively investigating the crash.
