Oakland, CA (February 23, 2023) – A bicyclist was left injured following an automobile accident that took place in the Oakland area on Thursday, February 23.
At around 10:38 a.m., the California Highway Patrol was notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place on 51st Street.
Reports provided by CHP indicate that a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the area of 51st Street and Shattuck Avenue. The incident prompted officials to block off multiple lanes near the intersection as they provided assistance to the injured victim.
