Oakland, CA (February 24, 2023) – The police and firefighters out of Oakland responded to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Thursday in the Hoover-Foster neighborhood and ended in injuries.
Just before 5:00 a.m. on February 23, the Oakland Police Department was notified that they were needed at the scene of a vehicle collision on San Pablo Avenue.
Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and located two damaged vehicles blocking the 2200 block of the roadway.
Authorities immediately secured the scene to prevent further damage or injuries. Paramedics were dispatched to care for the victims who suffered injuries. At least one of the people involved in the crash was then transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated at this time.
