San Francisco, CA – Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Blvd Ends in Injuries

San Francisco, CA (February 23, 2023) – A crash was reported in the San Francisco area on Wednesday afternoon that resulted in injuries for at least one of the people involved.

On February 22, troopers with the California Highway Patrol were notified that a multi-vehicle accident had occurred on Highway 101.

Just before 2:40 p.m., an orange Camaro, a white Subaru, and a white pickup truck collided on the southbound side of Highway 101. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway in the area near Cesar Chavez Boulevard.

Highway Patrol and area firefighters remained at the scene extensively as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the lanes of travel on the road.

At least one person involved in the crash was injured and transported to a local hospital for emergency care.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating to determine what led to the accident taking place.
