Truck Accidents in California

San Onofre Beach, CA - San Diego Freeway Truck Crash with Injuries Reported near Border Patrol StationIn California, nearly 3000 truck accidents take place across the state that end in injuries each year. These accidents have an overwhelming impact on the lives of victims. Given the size of these vehicles compared to most passenger vehicles on the road, accidents in which they are involved generally end with catastrophic injuries and damages.

Unlike most other types of vehicle collisions, when semi-trucks and large commercial vehicles are involved, there are several parties who can be held liable for any damages that you have suffered. In general, these parties include:

  • The truck driver
  • The cargo loading company
  • The truck part manufacturer
  • The owner of the truck
  • The trucking company
  • The maintenance company
