Fillmore, CA (February 25, 2023) – One person has lost their life following a motor vehicle accident that took place in the Fillmore area on Friday afternoon, February 24.
The California Highway Patrol was notified about the crash at approximately 12:04 p.m.
According to authorities, a pickup truck in a second vehicle collided on Highway 26 in the area near Spalding Avenue. The incident prompted officials to secure the road to prevent further damage or injuries to those involved.
One person was fatally injured as a result of the crash. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The number of injured parties is not known at this time.
Investigations into the crash are currently underway.
