Los Angeles, CA (February 25, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol responded to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in which at least one person suffered injuries on Friday evening, February 24.
Troopers were notified at approximately 4:30 p.m. that an automobile accident had occurred on Interstate 105.
CHP reports indicate that a gray Hyundai SUV and a gray sedan collided on the HOV lanes on the eastbound side of the interstate. The incident prompted officials to respond to the scene and close off the roadway near the Interstate 110 connector.
Emergency crews spent an extended period at the scene of the accident as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to the site of the crash to provide medical treatment to the victims who were harmed. Those who required further medical care were transported to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
