Riverside, CA (February 24, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol troopers were called to provide assistance at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Thursday evening and ended in injuries.
CHP troopers were called to the scene of the accident at approximately 5:15 p.m. on February 23.
Preliminary reports show that a black and white Ford sedan, a gray Tesla, and a gray Toyota Corolla collided on the northbound side of Interstate 15 in the area near Temescal Canyon Road. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway for an extended period.
The three vehicles involved in the crash suffered damage. At least one vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
An ambulance was requested at the scene to provide care to the injured victims. Victims were then transported to area hospitals for further treatment.
The California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
