Sacramento, CA (February 24, 2023) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were notified that an accident took place on the south side of the city that resulted in injuries.
At approximately 515 p.m. on February 23, authorities responded to the scene of an automobile collision that occurred on California state Route 99.
According to officials, a blue Honda Accord and a red sedan collided on the southbound side of the highway. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes near Centerville Road.
Tow trucks were requested at the scene to remove the Honda from the area.
Emergency medical services were notified that they were needed on-site to care for victims. At least one of the people involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for further care.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
