San Rafael, CA (February 25, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a bicycle accident that took place in San Raphael Friday evening and ended in injuries.
At approximately 4:10 p.m. On February 24, the California Highway Patrol responded to provide assistance on-site at an accident that occurred near the Bellam Boulevard on-ramp.
According to reports provided by authorities, a bicyclist was involved in a collision with a gray Dodge charger near the on-ramp during the evening hours. The incident prompted the police and firefighters to secure the roadway as they provided assistance at the scene.
The bicyclist sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for further medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
