Santa Ana, CA (February 24, 2023) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol were notified that they were needed at the scene of an automobile accident in Orange County on Thursday evening that left at least one person with injuries.
The accident was reported to officials at approximately 5:20 p.m. on February 23.
According to law enforcement, a silver sedan, a black Chrysler Pacifica, and a gray Honda Civic collided on California State Route 73. The incident blocked the northbound lanes near campus Drive.
Highway Patrol responded to the scene and closed off multiple lanes in the area as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to provide care to the injured victims. At least one party to the accident was transported to a local hospital for further treatment of injuries.
California Highway Patrol is actively investigating the crash.
