Car Accidents in California
More than 300 people are injured or killed in car crashes every single day in the Golden State. Injuries are a common result of these accidents. While most people who are hurt in these incidents only sustain minor injuries, thousands of people every year suffer from permanent disabilities as a result of their severe injuries.
In California, car accidents are a leading cause of the following types of injuries:
- Spinal cord injuries
- Back injuries
- Broken bones/compound fractures
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Soft tissue and neck injuries
Tragically, victims frequently need considerable medical attention and surgical procedures. When someone gets seriously hurt, the cost of care can quickly add up to tens of thousands of dollars. The high price of necessary medical care is a problem for many people. This places the burden on the injured person to decide between receiving adequate care and doing without. Nobody should have to cope with these kinds of costs or choices because of someone else’s carelessness.
