Contra Costa, CA (February 26, 2023) – At 3:45 p.m. on February 25, the California Highway Patrol was notified that an automobile accident took place in Contra Costa that required assistance.
Reports provided by CHP indicate that a white Lexus ES and a black Nissan Altima collided on the northbound side of Interstate 680. The incident prompted officials to close off the area near the off-ramp for Livorna Road.
The crash caused some delays in the area as emergency crews worked to remove debris from the scene.
Emergency medical services rendered aid to the victims who suffered injuries and provided them with transportation to local hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
