Los Angeles, CA – I-10 Truck Crash near Garey Ave Off-Ramp Ends in Injuries

Los Angeles, CA (February 26, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was notified that a truck accident took place in the Los Angeles area on Saturday afternoon that required assistance.

The accident was reported just before 3:30 p.m. on February 25.

CHP reports indicate that a semi-truck and a white pickup truck collided on the eastbound side of Interstate 10. The incident prompted authorities to close off the roadway just west of the off-ramp for Garey Avenue.

The pickup truck came to rest, blocking the HOV lane of travel. The semi-truck was blocking the middle lane of the road.

Authorities worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene of the accident. Pomona Valley tow responded to remove the semi-truck from the road.

At least one person suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals immediately following the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
