Truck Accidents in California
Truck accidents can have an overwhelming impact on the lives of victims. Regrettably, we see thousands of people hospitalized every month with serious spinal cord injuries, internal organ injuries, and even severe compound fractures as a result of vehicle collisions that occur in our state. Suffering an injury as a result of an accident can impact your life forever. Unfortunately, many accidents take place due to drivers who are careless.
Distracted driving is a serious problem in our state, resulting in far too many collisions caused by drivers who are texting or otherwise preoccupied. A driver’s attention can be diverted from the road, and they may not even realize they have crashed into something or someone else.
All automobile drivers are put in danger when impaired motorists get behind the wheel. Driving while impaired compromises everyone’s safety on the road. Drunk drivers have a higher likelihood to lose control of their vehicles, leading to accidents and possible injuries for themselves and others.
Refusing to drive at a safe speed puts others at risk of being injured. Accidents are more likely to occur when drivers are going too fast, as they are more likely to lose control of their vehicles, veer off the road, and collide with other vehicles or fixed objects.
