San Bernardino, CA (February 26, 2023) – Troopers with the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a major truck accident that had taken place in the San Bernardino area on Saturday afternoon, February 25.

At approximately 2:35 p.m., calls for help came in regarding a crash involving a semi-truck and a Ford Explorer SUV.

The accident took place on the northbound side of Interstate 15 near the area of Oak Hill Road.

The incident prompted officials to block off multiple lanes of travel as they worked to clear this northbound side of the road.

Tow trucks were requested at the scene to remove the damaged vehicles. AAA responded to take the Ford from the accident site while G and M towing responded to provide a flatbed truck to remove the damaged vehicles.

Emergency medical service personnel responded to care for victims who had suffered injuries. An unknown number of people harmed in the crash were transported to local hospitals for further medical care.

Troopers with the California Highway Patrol are currently investigating the accident.
