Car Accidents in California
Vehicle accidents in our state regularly hurt Californians who have done nothing wrong. Negligent driving is a common cause of car accidents, which in turn cause serious injuries to passengers and other road users.
Annually, many types of accidents are reported across our state. Head-on collisions are one of the most common types of accidents. These incidents typically involve a front-to-front collision between two automobiles. Vehicles can sustain substantial damage in these collisions, often to the point where they must be written off completely. Injuries sustained in head-on collisions are typically very serious.
Rear-end collisions are another frequent accident type reported in the Golden State. These collisions typically involve one car crashing head-on into another. One of the most common causes of rear-end collisions is reckless driving, especially tailgating, and excessive speeding. Such crashes can also result from people being preoccupied with other things at the time.
Finally, T-bone accidents are another often reported form of collision. A common cause of these collisions is motorists who disregard traffic signals, particularly red lights and stop signs. If one car smashes into the side of another, an accident occurs. When two vehicles collide in a T-shape, the cars often flip over.
