Winters, CA (February 26, 2023) – At 3:10 p.m. on February 25, the California Highway Patrol out of Sacramento was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Winters area.
According to reports provided by CHP, a blue SUV and a gray SUV were involved in a collision near the Cannon Creek Resort located on California State Route 128 in Winters. The incident prompted officials to close off multiple lanes of the road as they provided assistance.
Emergency crews worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the road. Both Norcal Towing and Winters Tow arrived at the scene to remove the damaged vehicles.
At least one person involved in the crash was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
