Fairmount Park, CA (February 27, 2023) – A truck accident took place in the Fairmount Park area on Sunday morning, February 26, that claimed the life of a 60-year-old man.
At approximately 3:50 a.m., authorities were notified that a truck crash took place on Home Avenue.
Preliminary crash investigations show that a semi-truck and a 2014 Kia collided on the northbound side of home Avenue in the 3900 block of the roadway.
The truck crash prompted officials to close off the road as they worked to provide assistance at the scene.
A 60-year-old man involved in the accident was severely harmed. He was rushed by ambulance to an area hospital for medical care. Authorities confirmed that he passed away after arriving.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
