Napa, CA (February 27, 2023) – At least one person was transported to a local hospital by ambulance as a result of a car accident that took place in Napa on Sunday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol was notified about the crash just before 1:30 p.m. on February 26.
According to officials, a white Mercedes coupe and a white Mazda CX5 collided on the northbound side of California State Route 128. The incident prompted officials to secure the roadway near Bennett Lane as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles and debris from the scene.
Emergency medical services were called to provide care to the injured victims and transport them to local hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
