Car Accidents in California
Being involved in a car accident can have a devastating impact on your life. Unfortunately, thousands of people are hospitalized every single month with injuries from accidents across our state. Although any type of accident can have severe consequences for victims, head-on collisions tend to be more serious than most other types.
Victims who are involved in head-on collisions are likely to become pinned inside their vehicles. As a result, they can suffer more severe injuries and have the treatment they receive becomes significantly delayed due to having to be extricated. Victims of head-on collisions are likely to suffer from neck and soft tissue injuries, trauma to the head, and severe compound fractures. However, these accidents can result in any type of injury that leaves the victim was severe consequences, both mentally and physically.
Head-on collisions can take place for a variety of reasons. In most cases, these accidents are caused by drivers who drift into the opposite lanes of travel. Going the wrong way down a roadway is incredibly dangerous and can lead to a serious accident that results in even more severe injuries.
Another common cause of head-on collisions is drivers who are unfamiliar with the roadway. When drivers do not know where they are going, they are more likely to enter roads in the wrong direction.
