Sacramento, CA (February 26, 2023) – A pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with injuries after a crash took place in North Sacramento on Saturday afternoon.
On February 25, authorities were notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of an accident on Elverta Road.
Police reports show that at around 2:30 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while walking in the area of Elverta Road and Walerga Road.
The police and area firefighters responded to the scene and blocked off multiple lanes in the area while providing assistance.
The pedestrian was injured in the crash and had to be transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
The Sacramento Police Department is investigating the accident.
