Van Nuys, CA (February 27, 2023) – At 10:20 a.m. on February 27, the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to help out at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Northridge and resulted in injuries.
Calls for help were received regarding a vehicle collision that blocked Sherman Way. Authorities arrived at the scene of the accident and located a black sedan and a red sedan blocking the left lane of travel at the intersection of Sherman Way and Hayvenhurst Avenue.
The police and firefighters out of Los Angeles promptly secured the roadway to prevent further damage to the involved vehicle.
At least one person suffered injuries and was treated at the scene. The injured parties were then transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
